Chicken and Rice in the Instant Pot

- 6 Chicken Thighs
- 3 cups Brown Rice This brand specified 2.5 cups water per cup of rice.
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 1.5 cups Water
- 1/2 tbsp Better Than Boullion
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 2 tsps Fine Herbs
- 2 tsps Pepper
- 2 tsps Salt
- 1 cup Chopped Carrots
- 1 cup Chopped Celery including leaves
Liz hasn’t been feeling well, and wanted something soupy. This experiment was highly regarded, but I do want to try making it brothier. Super easy prep, and extremely tasty!
I put the rice and broth in the InstantPot and set it on Saute while I chopped and added everything else. Then I put the lid on and set it for “Multigrain” at 30 minutes. It took around an hour to get up to temp and then cook.
